Statement of Environmental Policy
(ISO 14001 4.2) The
Primary Goal of Steadfast Engineering Is to achieve and maintain continual
improvement in the control and prevention of pollution by assessing the
environmental impact of its activities, products and, where applicable,
services. The
Organisation will commit itself to complying with all relevant
environmental legislation and regulations, locally, nationally and
internationally along with any industry specific or other requirements to
which the organisation may from time to time subscribe. The
company has therefore devised objectives and targets to continually
improve the system and prevent pollution which are detailed throughout
this document, and a system of review against which objectives, targets
and improvements must be measured, reviewed by top management, and
achieved. To
this end, this document has been produced with my full authority, the
systems and procedures detailed herein being mandatory for all personnel
within the Company. It
is expected that conformance to BSEN EN ISO 14001 : 2004 against which
these documents have been prepared will satisfy our customers in terms of
commitment to the environment, and that they will be pleased to note the
formal rationalisation of EN ISO 14001 activities within the STEADFAST
ENGINEERING GROUP. The Organisation are pleased to take this initiative and this environmental policy is available for all who should wish to see it. It is communicated through work instructions to the Organisations' Employees and is available for public scrutiny. This
Policy is current at Issue 1 Dated 22-02-05 It is identical to that found in the Environmental Management System Manual where it is signed as approved by the Managing Director on behalf of the Directors of the Company.
